❓Is there a cost to participate?
Nope! Volunteer model sessions are completely free. Your time, energy, and willingness to collaborate are your contribution. In return, you'll receive professional images (delivered digitally) as a thank-you for your participation.
We do have levels of a membership that has perks that allow you to be first in line to get the requests before anyone else. It also comes with your very own session for your birthday. If you would like more info, let MJ know.
❓Will I receive photos from the session?
Yes! After the event, You will receive a minimum of 3 social images per event depending on the event. Selected edited images will be shared with you digitally.
❓Do I get to choose my outfits or will styling be provided?
It depends on the event. Sometimes we’ll guide you on what to bring or provide specific themes. Other times, you may be styled by a wardrobe team or asked to wear certain colors or pieces. We’ll always give you details ahead of time.
❓How will I know if I’ve been selected?
You’ll receive a follow-up message if you're selected for a specific shoot. If you don’t hear from us right away, don’t worry—we keep all applications on file and choose models based on the needs of each project.
❓Do I need modeling experience?
Not at all! We love working with new and experienced models. You just need a great attitude, be open to direction, and ready to have fun in front of the camera.
❓What’s the time commitment?
Each event varies. Some may be 1–2 hours, others a half-day experience. We’ll always let you know the expected schedule before confirming your participation.
❓Where will the photoshoots take place?
Most shoots will be in the Indiana area. If you're selected, we’ll provide the exact address and any additional location notes.
❓What should I bring?
If anything is needed (like wardrobe basics, props, or accessories), we’ll let you know ahead of time. Otherwise, just bring yourself and be ready to shine!
❓Can I bring a friend or parent with me?
Yes! For those under 18, a parent/guardian must attend and sign a release. If you would like your friend to join you on some of the projects, have them apply!
❓How often do you select models?
We host various events throughout the year, and we select models as needed based on age, style, and event goals. Right now, between studio and on location, I hope to have an event as frequently as once a month. Just because you’re not selected for one event doesn’t mean you won’t be the perfect fit for the next!
